Our skate profiling service reshapes your blade’s profile for better balance, quicker turns, and more glide. Drop your skates off in store or mail them in, and we’ll ship them back ready to play.
What is Skate Profiling:
Your blade isn’t flat. It’s curved, and that curve (called the profile) decides how your skates feel on the ice. Stock blades and skates come with a one-size-fits-all profile, and it isn’t built for your position, your stride, or your style. Custom skate profiling reshapes that curve for peak skating performance.
We custom shape your blades using computer-controlled profiling system that grinds to exact measurements. The result is a precise and consistent profile that optimizes your performance.
What it does for players:
- Quicker turns and tighter agility with a more responsive pivot point
- Better acceleration and stride power through improved weight transfer and glide
- More balance and control because the blade sits where you need it
- Less fatigue from a properly matched contact point on the ice
What it does for goalies:
- Faster, smoother lateral movement for post-to-post pushes and shuffles
- Stronger and confident T-pushes and quicker recoveries after butterfly drops
- More stable edges so you stay planted in your stance and hold your angles
- Better balance in the crease with a profile matched to your height, weight, and style
Whether you’re a speedy winger, a shutdown defenseman, or a goalie who lives on the edges, we’ll dial it in for you.
